In the fall of 2023, we launched our Annual Campaign and reached out to the NOVA West Island community to inform them of this impactful initiative. With this exciting news, we actively promoted the campaign throughout the West Island and our many events. Our goal was to raise $150,000 during this campaign period. Although we didn't quite meet that target, we are grateful to have reached for the stars and achieved $138,780.51!
Last year, our non-profit organization cared for 663 vulnerable people on the West Island of Montreal through one or more of our programs. This does not include our enormous positive impact on caregivers, the public healthcare system, and the community.
This amount allows us to continue bridging gaps within the healthcare system by offering a variety of services free of charge or at a low cost to our clients. These services are provided by a dedicated team of registered nurses, home health aides, program coordinators, and volunteers.
NOVA West Island offers a range of services free of charge or at low cost through the financial support of individuals, foundations, corporations, municipalities, community groups, and through fundraising activities. Our programs & services include:
